1. Acceptance of Terms​

By downloading, installing, or using WUCall ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service​

WUCall is a call screening application for Android devices that:

  • Screens incoming calls from numbers not in your contacts
  • Optionally sends automated SMS messages to screened callers
  • Allows you to create custom call screening rules
  • Logs screened calls and messages for your review

3. User Responsibilities​

By using WUCall, you agree to:

  • Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the App for harassment, fraud, or any illegal purpose
  • Ensure your auto-reply messages are appropriate and lawful
  • Understand that SMS messages sent by the App may incur charges from your carrier
  • Grant the necessary permissions for the App to function properly

4. Permissions and Device Access​

WUCall requires certain Android permissions to function. By using the App, you grant these permissions and understand that:

  • The App will intercept incoming calls from unknown numbers
  • The App may send SMS messages on your behalf
  • The App will access your contacts to identify known callers
  • All data processing occurs locally on your device

5. Carrier Charges​

WUCall may send SMS messages to screened callers. You are responsible for any SMS charges incurred from your mobile carrier. We recommend reviewing your carrier's SMS rates and plans.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties​

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE
  • THAT THE APP WILL BLOCK ALL UNWANTED CALLS

7. Limitation of Liability​

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WUCALL, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
  • Any damages resulting from calls that were not properly screened
  • Any damages resulting from SMS messages sent by the App

8. Important Limitations​

Please be aware that:

  • WUCall cannot guarantee blocking of all spam or unwanted calls
  • Some legitimate calls may be inadvertently screened
  • The App depends on Android system capabilities that may vary by device
  • Emergency calls (911, etc.) are never blocked by the App

9. Modifications to Service​

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the App at any time
  • Update these Terms at any time
  • Release new versions with different features

Continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination​

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data will be deleted.

11. Governing Law​

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Severability​

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement​

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WUCall regarding your use of the App.
